The Batcave was destroyed along with Wayne Manor in 2005's Batman Begins and a makeshift base was constructed in sequel The Dark Knight.
The Dark Knight Rises will use locations in London, India, Iceland, Los Angeles, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Hong Kong and Romania.
Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt also star in The Dark Knight Rises, which opens in cinemas on June 20, 2012
