Kanye West in for Psychiatric Evaluation

Kanye West was hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation on Monday evening, November 21.
West was initially brought in to seek medical attention for sleep deprivation but wound up being admitted under doctors orders, it was reported by TMZ. Authorities say that police were called to Kanye's residence at around 1:20 p.m. for a welfare check, but were unable to gain access to him at that time. Paramedics were also reported to have arrived at the scene and were eventually able to transport him to UCLA Medical Center despite his resistance.

Kanye West Cancels Show in Inglewood

Once again our big homie Kanye West surprises us tonight, and not for the good. After last night's rant  in Sacramento, Ticketmaster refunded ticket purchases for everyone who attended probably one of Kanye's biggest concert upsets to date. Oh wait !!! UNTIL tonight that is, the Saint Pablo concert that was scheduled for tonight at The Forum in Inglewood, Ca has be canceled. Looks like a bad moment for Mr. West fan in Cali.

New Apple Headset

Vietnamese site Tinhte, which has a solid record of procuring pre-release Apple products, has what they claim to be the headphones that will come with the new iPhone next month.  The current iOS device headphones have remained largely unchanged since the launch of the original iPhone in 2007 and many complain they fit poorly or fall out often (guilty!).  Apple also makes in-ear headphones which many consider over-priced and under performing (also guilty!).

These headphones appear to be a hybrid of the two current versions that Apple offers and it isn’t certain if they will be offered with the product or as a new add-on accessory.

Below are some stills from the site including the comparison to current iPhone headsets and the telltale “Designed in California, Made in Viet Nam” written along the cable:

G. DOUGLAS REVEALS RACIAL MISTREATMENT

In the upcoming October issue of Vanity Fair, Gabby Douglas reveals even more racial mistreatment during her years at the Excalibur Gym.  One verbally hurtful detail that she revealed to Vanity Fair was that she was told by an Excalibur staff member at a party in 2010 to get a "nose job" in order to fix its flatness. Gabby's sister Arielle said that this insensitive remark further worsened Gabby's confidence in herself and her appearance, as she was already suffering from other verbal insults she had received at the gym.
The Head Coach of Excalibur Gym, Dena Walker, did in fact confirm that the remark was made to Gabby about her nose, but that it was meant as a joke.  Gabby's former coach and CEO of Excalibur gym, Gustavo Maure, released the following comment to Vanity Fair via email, defending the gym's honor and reputation.
"We did with Gabby far beyond what are our coaches' duties. We are proud of what we did. How is it possible . . . to not recognize that she reached [her] level with our help, our economic support, our passion and our love?"
In another statement made to E! News, Maure stated:
"We've had more African Americans in elite and on the national team than any other gym in the country.  Her African American former teammates will answer this serious accusation. (1st statement untruth, she was not the only African American gymnast training in the gym) We are good people. We never were knowingly involved in any type of bullying or racist treatment, like she is accusing Excalibur."

Good Words Come From Shyne For Max B

Shyne Po knows exactly what it's like to have to serve a lengthy bid behind bars.  He was in jail for almost a full decade for his involvement in a night club shooting that occurred in NYC during which he claims he was trying to protect Diddy from men who were trying to shoot him.
Max B, on the other hand, is currently incarcerated for allegedly being the mastermind behind a fatal armed robbery that occurred at a Fort Lee hotel six years ago.  News broke that his appeal was recently denied and that he will continue to serve his 75 year sentence.  The earliest that Max will be able to see freedom is 20 years, apparently.
Shyne posted a series of "Free Max B" supportive tweets praising the rapper for not dropping dimes on other people involved in the robbery case and instead taking his sentence like a G.  Check out Shyne's supportive Max B tweets above.

Max B's Murder Charge Sticks

Max B's Murder Conviction Upheld, Faces Release in 2042

On Thursday, an appeals court upheld the murder conviction of Harlem native and rapper Max B, who was ordered to serve a 75-year prison sentence for planning a botched robbery that lead to a fatality. Prosecutors say the rapper's step-brother Kevin Leerdam and his girlfriend Gina Conway confronted David Taylor and Allan Plowden on orders from Max B. During the confrontation, Leerdam shot and killed Taylor after the robbery took a turn for the worst.
Max B appealed the ruling made by the Bergen County Superior Court judge, citing that the presiding judge did not separate his case from that of his stepbrother's. The rapper also alleged that there were trial errors and prosecutorial missteps during his hearing. However, an appeals panel has upheld the conviction.
Max B is doing his time at Trenton State Prison and won't be eligible for parole until November 2042.
