Kanye West in for Psychiatric Evaluation

Kanye West was hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation on Monday evening, November 21.

West was initially brought in to seek medical attention for sleep deprivation but wound up being admitted under doctors orders, it was reported by TMZ. Authorities say that police were called to Kanye's residence at around 1:20 p.m. for a welfare check, but were unable to gain access to him at that time. Paramedics were also reported to have arrived at the scene and were eventually able to transport him to UCLA Medical Center despite his resistance.

Kanye West Cancels Show in Inglewood

Once again our big homie Kanye West surprises us tonight, and not for the good. After last night's rant  in Sacramento, Ticketmaster refunded ticket purchases for everyone who attended probably one of Kanye's biggest concert upsets to date. Oh wait !!! UNTIL tonight that is, the Saint Pablo concert that was scheduled for tonight at The Forum in Inglewood, Ca has be canceled. Looks like a bad moment for Mr. West fan in Cali.

Kanye Rants About the Internet

You're not the only one upset that the internet might have misled you. Kanye West cut short a Sacramento concert with an epic 15-minute speech where he railed against the state of the music industry, politics, and... the internet. The superstar says that people feel like they lost (due to the election, among other issues) because Facebook and Google "lied to you." He even calls out Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg by name around the 12-minute mark. Supposedly, the internet mogul reneged on a promise that he "would help" Kanye and then decided to "look for aliens." We're not sure where that last part comes from, since Facebook's out-there projects are largely limited to Earthly concerns like solar-powered internet drones.

Lil Wayne's 'Tha Carter IV' to break iTunes record

Lil Wayne's new album Tha Carter IV is on course to break the iTunes record for single-week album sales.

The LP has already reached 300,000 downloads via iTunes alone over four days, and is on track to reach combined digital and physical sales of 850,000 for its first week of release.

Wayne has handily beaten the previous iTunes record set last month by Kanye West and Jay-Z's Watch the Throne, which achieved 290,000 iTunes downloads in a single week.

The rapper brought the release of Tha Carter IV forward after the album leaked online, releasing it digitally at midnight straight after this year's MTV Video Music Awards.

Wayne took a shot at Jay-Z and his wife Beyoncé on the song 'It's Good' from his new album.
